The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) is implement a set of Revised Procedures for licensed food premises (Scheme) that have fully implemented the food safety management system under ISO 22000 in 2007 February. The food premises, which are obtained the ISO 22000 certification, will be recognized under the Scheme.


Excluded from the Demerit Point System (DPS)
Food premises recognized under the Scheme will be excluded from the DPS, but the licensee / operator should comply the legislation.
Inspection frequency
The food premises will be inspected at intervals of at least once every 5 months.
