Why use ISO 22000?
ISO 22000 will help the business to achieve the following objectives:

The SCHEME by FEHD
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) implement a set of Revised Procedures ¡§The Scheme¡¨ for licensed food premises that have fully implemented the food safety management system under ISO 22000 and obtained the ISO 22000 certification in 2007 February.
FEHD has proposed that the business could:
- Excluded from the Demerit Point System (DPS)
Food premises recognized under the Scheme will be excluded from the DPS, but the licensee / operator should still comply with the legislation.
- Inspection frequency
The food premises will be inspected at intervals of at least once every 5 months
